Corona Treater / Corona Treatment Surface tension of plastic film, paper, metal foils, teflon coated fiber glass cloth etc. is not sufficiently high to permit good wetting of inks/gums or lamination. Corona Treatment makes films receptive to ink lamination by including molecular changes on surface of the film.
